The incredibly cool-sounding feature film adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic, “Where the Wild Things Are” is not only being directed by the legendary Spike Jonze, but will also feature a soundtrack performed in part by his ex-best girl, Karen O. The fearless frontwoman of Yeah Yeah Yeahs lends her talent to the project following additional extracurricular activities on the I’m Not There soundtrack and a rumored solo LP produced by YYY collaborator and Jonze’s brother, Squeek E. Clean.

“Where the Wild things Are” is great, but when it comes to Sendak’s classics, I was always more of a Little Bear fan. News via P4k.
