Interactive Arcade Fire video: “Black Mirror” January 24, 2008

A new video is out for Arcade Fire’s “Black Mirror,” off last year’s Neon Bible. We’ve been getting a lot of cool videos for old albums, but better late than never I guess. This one’s especially cool because you can interact with the audio track by pressing number keys during playback. The artwork, like the image above, is by Montreal-based artist, Tracy Maurice. I think there’s a narrative to the very Arcade Fire-ish sepia-toned video, but I couldn’t really follow it. Check it out yourself here.
